Rushing by so slowly

Ten days. What can happen in ten days time? An inordinate amount of things can happen in ten days time. Like bringing home my husband, settling in to our home, nearly losing my dog to illness, being stalked by people from past lives and past times, and those are just to name a few. Life has been oddly hectic and crazed, and yet....moving slowly, meandering. There is not much left that surprises me.

In another ten days time....I will know whether my dog will survive this, whether I am positive for Hepatitis C, and perhaps whether this time I will get that job I seek. I will know whether I can afford to eat this week, whether I can pay the rent this month, whether I can put gas in the tank, and pay the insurance.

And just maybe...I might get a small break in things and rest easy for just a moment....maybe.
